Referral Agents LLC allows you to earn money and keep your real estate license without paying any MLS or Realtor® association fees.  To join, you must be a licensed real estate agent (salesperson or broker) in Virginia. If you are inactive, you may also activate your license with us.

How it Works:

Qualification:
You may transfer an active license or activate an inactive license. 
Not yet licensed?  If you have passed the PSI exam, you may also join us. 
You do not need to be a resident of Virginia to join.

Join Us:
 * Your membership with us is only $150/year total.
* You pay NO Realtor® Association fees, NO MLS fees, NO monthly or similar office fees.
* We will email you with the DPOR TransferForm-DPOR (or Activate form if inactive).  There is a separate payment form for the DPOR application.

Your license status:
* You will be an active licensed agent with Referral Agents LLC, a licensed Virginia real estate company.
* As an active agent, you will be required to complete any continuing education (CE) requirements. Discounted CE available.
* Don’t lose your hard-earned license.  And still earn referral fees.

Referral Income:
* You can make referrals anywhere in your state or in the USA. You have the choice of finding a Realtor® for the referral or let us do the work at no extra cost.
* You decide what referral fee to charge (e.g. 25% or 30%) or let us decide based on the situation. If your customer is a high dollar purchase or sale or if a buyer has already decided on a particular home purchase, then you may consider 35%, 40% or even more.  The referral fee should be fair but is always negotiable. We can assist you in deciding on a fair referral.
* We pay you 80% of the referral fee received. Example:  You refer someone to buy a home in Virginia or another state. Let’s say the referral fee is 25%. They buy a home for $500,000 and the buyer’s broker gets a 3% commission or $15,000. The 25% referral fee is $3,750. You get 80% or $3,000.
* You can also earn income on your own home purchase/sales. This includes your personal residence or investment properties in Virginia or anywhere. You would basically be referring yourself to a Broker to get your referral fee.
* We are always available to assist you with required referral forms and follow through for you.
* Your licensed broker can assist you on your referrals.
* You have the ability to tell others or advertise that you are a licensed referral agent.

You will have an active license with us. Don’t let your license expire. Keep it active and have the potential for extra income through referrals. 

We are licensed in Virginia. Your principal broker Paul Hartke has been a broker for 30 years and is available to you 7 days a week.  Paul is also a licensed real estate instructor and is a co-owner of another company that is for Realtors rather than referral agents.
